Private Commissions
Would you like me to draw a building that is important to you? Perhaps a building from your childhood, a special memory, or a home. I would be happy to do a bespoke original drawing for you.
This could be to celebrate a place or a moment, or it could be a meaningful gift.
Use this form to start a conversation about your idea. I’d like to know the size, deadline and if possible, whether you have a drawing of mine you like in particular.
The Process
First, fill in the form to the right and then we can talk (either via email or phone) to gather information about your idea. We can then agree a price and I’ll send a commission agreement.
I usually work from reference photographs (though the finished drawing is stylised and will not be an exact copy of the photograph), so you may need to send me photographs or I may need to make travel arrangements.
Once an agreement is in place, I will do a pencil sketch so you can see the composition and have the chance to make any suggestions before I proceed. You can let me know if you wish to see further progress photos. A watermarked photo of the final drawing will be sent to you for approval before the original is posted.
The Cost
Each project will be quoted individually once I have enough information. As an approximate guide, an unframed A4 original drawing will likely take 3-6 weeks and costs start from £150 depending on the complexity and timescales.
